Oregon Shakespeare Festival 2011
The Hobart Shakespeareans recently spent twelve glorious days in Ashland at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
They watched nine plays. Their favorites included August: Osage County, Pirates of Penzance, The Imaginary Invalid, and Henry IV Part II.
The students also read Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, and found lots of time for soccer, music, Frisbee, ice cream, art projects, and all kinds of important activities that cannot be measured on standardized tests.
Thanks to all our friends at the Festival and the generous patrons who make it possible.
