Founding Fathers Adventure 2017

In June 2017, the Hobart Shakespeareans went on an amazing journey to South Dakota and Pennsylvania to study United States History and tour colleges.

Planting General Washington's Flag: Valley Forge, Pennsylvania

The kids toured Mount Rushmore and went to the top of Crazy Horse Mountain. They hiked in Badlands National Park and walked in Washington's footsteps at Valley Forge.

Swarthmore and Penn are a very real possibility for these remarkable young people.

From Independence Hall to Gettysburg, the Hobart Shakespeareans studied the past to open the doors to a better future. Thank you to the Hartwell Foundation and all our friends for making this magical trip possible.
