2010 Oregon Shakespeare Festival

From June 28 through July 10, the Wake Up with Will Saturday program spent thirteen glorious days at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

These middle school students worked for a year Saturday mornings to earn the privilege of attending. They saw nine plays, covering the spectrum from Shakespeare's greatest tragedy to the horrors of war in the Congo to the brilliant comedy of Jane Austen.

The favorite plays of the students were Hamlet, She Loves Me, and Pride and Prejudice.

In addition to theater, they kids found time to play tennis, read The Secret Life of Bees, meet with actors, celebrate the 4th of July, play games and make jigsaws puzzles, swim, play baseball, and enjoy their lives surrounded by good friends.

Thanks to all our patrons for making it possible.
